Mike Schwartz owner of the The Backcountry, a ski and bike shop in Truckee, CA., is presenting the 12th anual Adventure Slide Show Series. I've been going to these shows all along and it's really hard to believe it's been 11 years. But I'll tell you what, they keep getting better and better. All though the anual slide show series has already begun, there are plenty more fantastic shows to come. Tonights show is presented by one of my favorite super heros of the Sierra, Dave Nettle. Dave's tales of epic adventure will leave you inspired and running home to plan your own trip. He has a great style when it comes to delivering a slide show. The shows are FREE by the way! They are held as always in the Olypmpic Plaza Bar at Squaw Valley and start at 7:00pm. The Plaza Bar is located at the base of the KT22 lift and accessible via the Olympic House enterance by Les Chamois & the Loft Bar. You may want to get there as much as an hour early to get a good seat and have a beer with your friends because they will all be there.
