The USS Ronald Reagan, a Naval Aircraft Carrier, assisted in getting cruise-goers basic needs such as food yesterday after the ship experienced an explosion in it's engine room. I read about it  this morning in The Southside Riverside News Network. I thought this was particularly fitting, given that today is Veterans' Day, a day that we reflect on the sacrifice that our armed forces make every day for our freedom. Although not a typical call-to-duty, this assist is one of the many ways that our armed service men and women serve our country. On a personal note,  my brother Justin, a Prowler Pilot, is currently on the Ronald Reagan. who knows, he just might have given your grandparents a jet ride off their cruise ship!
